Today, Jordan’s dad arrives home from two years of deployment in Japan! I am just as excited as he and his family is! I cannot wait to great him once he arrives. I missed him very much and I wish that he was able to see me graduate. However, today calls for another celebration!

At first I did not think that four years of high school would have such a significant influence on the person I am today. I thought that these fours years were going to fly by. Unfortunately, I was right. So much has changed within the four years I have been attending Olympian High School. Friends came and went. People I have known since middle school have grown right before my eyes. I complained and bickered with friends about how terrible high school was and how much I wanted to leave it. But I cannot lie to myself, I will miss it because through all the hate and stress I learned to love the experience. High school helped me become more confident with who I am and the person I am planning to become. I am proud of all of my accomplishments. Thank you to those who have helped me along the way. High school you were surely one hell of a ride but thank you for the memories. Congratulations to the class of 2012!

Do you know what the absolute beautiful thing in life is? Well, you can guess by the pictures that my answer is family but no that is not my answer exactly. To be more precise, my answer would be the love between the people within a family.
I know that sounds a bit hackneyed but its is true. Love is a beautiful thing isn’t it? It is even more so between a family. Whether it is between a blood related family, a team, a couple or a family of friends — love is a wondrous thing.
This weekend my dad’s side of the family came for a visit from the bay area to spend time with us and congratulate my brother for his promotion from middle school to high school and me for my graduation from high school. I rarely see my dad’s side of the family. But, when they came down here for the weekend we acted as if we see each other daily. I was comfortable talking to my aunties, uncles, and cousins who I have not seen for about nine months or even a year. There seems to be no distance between my grandpa, grandma, and I. The loss of time between us was not a factor when we were together. The most amazing thing to me is that my family still remained supportive of me no matter how much time as passed. Even though they knew of my mistakes and losses they pushed it all aside to celebrate what I had accomplished. Even though they were not there with me every step of they way, they supported me the same and I appreciate that so much. I adore the love I feel from my family. This weekend, they reminded me why I work as hard as I do and why I stress myself to oblivion. I do everything I do for them because I love them, nothing less.
